Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Katie now calls Michigan home, where she lives with her fiancé, daughter, and their growing family—including a Rottweiler and a cat. With nearly five years of experience in event planning, Katie has developed a true passion for curating and executing weddings that come to life in unique and unforgettable ways. She finds great joy in the process of transforming a couple's vision into reality, ensuring every detail is meticulously crafted. Katie answered every question I had as a bride in a timely manner and constantly made me feel at ease. She was so accommodating with our few requests and never let any of us worry about how the day was going to go. Thank you!
Katie was our day of event coordinator and she was on top of literally everything I could've ever asked for. She was right there ready to help or do anything so that way we both didn't stress about anything. We changed the layout of the venue and had it in a way they normally would not put it but for our small wedding of less than 100 it worked out perfectly! We both had nonstop comments about how amazing everything was!
We worked with Katie from Creative Grace and had the best experience. We originally didn’t plan to hire a Day of Coordinator, but we truly believe it wouldn’t have been possible to have our perfect wedding without Katie!
We met with Katie in person about four months before our wedding - she is kind, attentive to detail, and gave us great ideas for our wedding. She provided us with a custom timeline, and was available for Zoom calls whenever we needed it. We live in Florida but had our wedding in Michigan, and it was such a peace of mind knowing someone was close by to help. Katie was incredibly responsive, and we had access to a shared site that housed our conversations and schedules.
Katie came to our rehearsal dinner and directed the entire thing. Our family and bridal party was so appreciative to have someone to ask questions to and direct us.
We had a morning wedding (11 AM) which could have been hectic - however, everyone told us that we were calm and collected. We owe that solely to Katie. She managed the entire room set-up/decor, as well as the vendor coordination. She was there for the processional and directed everyone so smoothly. She was there the entire reception, coordinated and announced speeches, ensured we had everything we needed…it truly made our day SO easy. She even stayed and helped clean up the venue afterwards!
